The only way to get around Freycinet National Park is driving, and hiking. If driving isn't an option, there are tours available which offer transport from Hobart.

The best time to visit Freycinet National Park depends on what you are visiting for. Spring (September to November) and Autumn (March to May) are best for hiking and clear skies. Summer (December to February) is ideal for visiting the beaches. And Winter (June to August) is best to avoid the crowds and whale watching.
