There are plenty of breathtaking scenes on Seventy-Five Mile Beach – whales, dolphins, rock pools and rainforest – including the historic Maheno Shipwreck. Beached since 1935, this eerie Japanese ship has become a piece of K’gari’s history.

Along Seventy-Five Mile Beach are the sparkly champagne pools. Formed by volcanic rocks, these secluded saltwater baths are a great spot for a swim. Settle into the bubbly water, looking out for playful marine life in the ocean next to you.
